Chapters 1-5, The Color Stories
If there’s one thing that struck me about the recent Isaia campaign, The Making of, it was the perfection to which Isaia conveyed their world of color. Today, there are only a handful of greats that can create color stories reflective of the entirety of the brand. Stories that give a sense of where the brand was born from.
For instance, Cucinelli’s dusty earth tones and warm color palette recall the countryside of Solomeo. Ralph Lauren’s bright stripes paired with country tweeds conjure up images of the american dream. Calvin Klein’s monochromatic, saturated pigments leaves paints a stark image in your brain. And Isaia’s harmonious complementary color scale brings to life a day in Naples.
